I am strongly against the Salvation Army shelter proposal for Montreal road. I believe it is too big and the potential for a negative impact on the community is too great.
- Address the homelessness crisis. This new shelter is designed to respond to a need. To stop this proposal, it is imperative we have a solid plan in place for the next four years and a strong leader to execute it. Together we can take action on homelessness.
- Transparency and Open Consultation at City Hall. The current councillor worked in concert with the Salvation Army on this file while the community was left in the dark. As residents, we deserve more honesty and transparency from City Hall.
There’s a lot at stake this election. The choice we make on October 22 will determine our future. Join us. Together, we will bring change to City Hall. Sign up to receive updates, volunteer or donate today.
